What We're Fighting For

Protecting the Environment & Stopping Environmental Degradation in Dufferin-Caledon

  • Brad does not support the development of the proposed Highway 413 due to the destruction of farmland and prime agricultural lands, as well as the impacts to local ecology
  • Brad supports development that is smart – as long as a community’s infrastructure, transportation, and environmental needs can be met
  • Brad has a history of standing up against Environmental Degradation in our riding

Healthcare and Long-Term Care

  • We’ve seen countless lives lost in our communities due to failures and Ford Government lack of action on Long Term Care. Brad is committed to upgrading the standard of care in Ontario’s LTC homes. We need to fix this for our community’s aging population and our Seniors.
  • Brad will advocate for more funding towards our Healthcare system and Hospitals, including Dufferin-Caledon’s own Headwaters Health Care Centre
  • We’ve seen the devastating impact of mental health since the start of the pandemic, that’s why Brad will always advocate for adequate mental health support and funding for our community.

Supporting Small Businesses in a Post-Covid Recovery

  • As a small business owner, Brad knows the struggles that businesses are facing during this pandemic. That’s why he supports the Ontario Liberal Party’s Small Business Recovery Plan. From Shelburne to Bolton, and everywhere in between, Dufferin-Caledon small businesses need support from someone that knows the struggles that owners are facing.

Affordability and Affordable Housing

  • As a Real Estate Team Leader/Owner, Brad knows the ins and outs of the housing market and recognizes that for far too many, affordable housing is needed now more than ever. Creating meaningful advantages for first time home buyers within this riding is one of my top priorities.
  • Brad supports restarting the Universal Basic Income pilot project to help families get ahead
  • Brad will advocate for bringing in more affordable and accessible internet across all of Dufferin-Caledon

Education

  • As the father of two school aged children, Brad knows the impact that Covid has had on our schools. But we need to do better for our next generation. The future of our riding depends upon the quality of education we provide. Brad supports reducing class sizes to 20 students.
  • Brad will advocate for Dufferin-Caledon teachers, faculty and families. If the pandemic has taught us anything, it’s that our children and the school system that supports them is the cornerstone of a productive future and, unlike now, must be supported by the provincial government.
